Biography:
Bronwyn Rose Hazard is an American teaching artist who grew up in Toledo, Ohio. She was introduced to performance from an early age as her parents were professional musicians of rock, blues, and jazz music. During middle and high school, she attended a training school for performing arts where she studied theatre, dance, and music. This experience inspired her to pursue education. Today, she is a performing arts specialist, teaching classes and directing artistic productions for children and teenagers in the United States and formerly abroad, in China.
Bronwyn holds a Bachelor of Arts in Jazz Music from the University of Toledo (2011), and a Master of Arts in Theatre Education from Emerson College (2014).

“Pop Culture Players! Acting Workshop for Children”
Description:
A weekly theatre workshop for exploring famous scenes from popular world culture. Students pretend to be their favorite princesses, superheroes, wizards, villains and magical creatures featured on-screen or within literature! All children welcome.

Two groups. Younger (8-11) and Older (12-14)

Students will analyze text, discuss character motivation, explore voice & movement, and learn basic theatre vocabulary. This class supports ESL development.
